PROGRESSIVE or MULTIFOCAL LENSES are used for multiple viewing tasks. The distance prescription is on the top of the lenses which progressively changes to the reading prescription as you move from the top of the lenses to the bottom. These lenses have no visible lines and appear as a single vision lenses.
